The Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Computer, Communications and Electronic Engineering combines three major scientific disciplines in the Information Engineering class (L8): Computer Engineering, Information and Communications Engineering and Electronic Engineering. The programme shares an interdisciplinary core of subjects and provides two different curricula, one in Italian and one entirely offered in English; both last 3 years and require 180 credits.
The curriculum taught in Italian "Ingegneria Informatica, delle Comunicazioni ed Elettronica" offers a basic common training in which the student acquires a solid foundation, studying the essential elements of (Calculus, Physics, Computer Programming, Geometry and Linear Algebra). The programme is completed with a cross-disciplinary training, articulated in a specific curricular path that enables students to acquire specific competences in their chosen area among Computer, Communications and Electronic Engineering. The study course is strongly project-based: it is focused on the intensive use of the laboratories and promotes activities for the design of devices and software.
Course content: curriculum in Italian
The curriculum taught in English "Computer, Communications and Electronic Engineering" aims at providing basic training in which the student acquires a solid foundation, studying the essential elements (Calculus, Physics, Geometry and Linear Algebra, Computer Programming) and then includes a cross-disciplinary study plan which enables the acquisition of a cross education integrating courses that characterize each of the three main areas: Computer, Communications and, Electronic Engineering. The study course is strongly project-based: it is focused on the intensive use of the laboratories and promotes activities for the design of devices and software.
