The programme is open to applicants who possess a high-school leaving certificate (or equivalent qualification obtained in a foreign country).
Application is based on public selection.

Admission and enrollment for the first year
In order to be admitted to the degree course, candidates are required to pass a TOLC test managed by CISIA (Consorzio Interuniversitario Sistemi Integrati per l'Accesso).
For Italian citizens, citizens of European Union countries and other categories indicated in the call for admission, there are 2 admission sessions, in February and April 2023. Call for admission and deadlines are published on the webpages:
- Admission to the Bachelor’s degree courses in Engineering and Science TOLC-I and English TOLC-I: 1st session 2023/2024
- Admission to the Bachelor’s degree courses in Engineering and Science TOLC-I and English TOLC-I: 2nd session 2023/2024.
In case any vacancies remain, they may be made available in a further admission session: detailed information will eventually be posted on the page Application and enrolment to Bachelor's degrees and combined Bachelor's plus Masters' degrees.
Course changes, incoming transfers and credit recognition
Candidates applying with:
- a transfer from another degree programme
- a transfer from another university
- recognition of academic credits from previous degrees or single courses
must follow the admission procedures and deadlines indicated in the call for admission.

Application a.y. 2023/2024 for non European candidates living abroad
In order to be admitted to the degree course, non-EU citizens living abroad mus follow a specific admission procedure.
