Teaching and Learning Activities (lectures, labs, internships) are organized in two academic years (four semesters).
One CFU ('Credito Formativo Universitario') is worth one ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credit and corresponds to about 25 hours, inclusive of class hours (6-to-10 depending on the activity) in addition to indipendent study.

The Programme ("Manifesto degli Studi" in Italian) lists the courses offered and the activities offered by the Master's course during each academic year.

Programme - Master Degree in European and International Studies - 2019/2020

The Programme regulation ("Regolamento Didattico" in Italian) of the Master's degree indicates all the exams you have to pass and the rules you have to follow in order to obtain the Master's degree. It is available at Rules and regulations (please note that the document is only available in Italian. For any queries please contact the MEIS Office).

Course Contents - Syllabi

In the Syllabus of each activity you can find information about its content, lecturers, texts, number of credits (CFU), specific prerequisites/rules (if any) and type of exam (oral and/or written examintation, paper...)

The Syllabus of each course is available on Esse3 > Didactic Activities (Faculty = "Scuola di Studi Internazionali").

Study Plan

In order to register to exams, the corresponding teaching and learning activities must be included in your Student Record on Esse3 (Career > Student Record). To enter teaching and learning activities (courses) in your Student Record, you have to fill in your study plan in the specifics time windows:

  • from 10th September to 10th October 2019
  • from 1st to 30th November 2019
  • from 1st to 31st March 2020

The paper version of the study plan must be submitted by email to meis [at] unitn.it only if you intend to choose an elective course other than those listed in the online procedure on Esse3. The reasons for choosing a non-MEIS course must be clearly spelt out in the paper version of the study plan. The study plan has to be approved by the Coordinator.

Examination Sessions

You can take an exam (if you have the corresponding activity on your booklet in esse3) only after you have registered to it online via esse3 - reserved area (section 'Exams').
