To obtain the Master's Degree, you have to acquire 300 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) through

  • compulsory exams indicated in your study plan respecting the requirements set out in the Degree Programme Regulations and in the Faculty of Law student handbook. Compliance with these requirements will allow students to take the exams relating to second and subsequent years of the programme, as well as additional exams (starting from the third year only)
  • complementary exams, starting from the third year:
    • students enrolled from 2021/2022: 6 complementary exams
    • students enrolled up to 2020/2021: 7 complementary exams
  • integrate your studies with 13 ECTS for further training activities ("other activities"), according to the following distribution:
    • 3 ECTS of your own choice such as other additional exams, free modules, practical workshops, professional internships, computer skills, language skills
    • 10 ECTS of your choice from among the activities listed at the point above, or further complementary exams other than the compulsory ones. Students can choose and take complementary exams starting from the third year only
  • demonstrating knowledge of a foreign language at B1 level thus acquiring 5 credits.
  • passing the final exam by producing and discussing a thesis (22 ECTS).

Study plan and Exams

The study plan must be completed in order to have the programme activities in the student's booklet and to take the related exams.

Students will find instructions for the exams they will have to take in the Faculty Guide, in which the exact description of the prerequisites that must be respected can be found.

Academic calendar, timetable and enrollment on practical and free courses

The academic year is divided into two semesters during which lessons are held.

These semesters are interspersed with exam sessions.

Teaching is also suspended during national holidays, Christmas and Easter holidays, for the additional graduation session in March and for the intermediate tests.

E-learning, library and digital resources

Tutoring

A tutoring service is available: students who are enrolled in the Master's degree programme and / or who are particularly knowledgeable in certain subjects are available to support other students in their university studies.
