Environmental Meteorology Seminars series. From the Fundamentals of Climate to Operational Applications

This series of seminars is a new joint initiative between the MSc Programme in Environmental Meteorology, jointly offered by the Universities of Trento and Innsbruck, and the Earth System Physics group at ICTP.  They present the current state of research and operational implementation of all areas of weather, climate and environment,  past, present and future, and span basic theory, idealized and realistic modelling, as well as applications of climate and weather in various sectors, including health, agriculture, energy, environment and the economy.

Seminars are primarily meant for students attending the MSc in Environmental Meteorology, and also contribute to the training offered to ICTP pre-PhD diploma program that provides scholarships to developing country students, but are also open to  all those with an interest in climate and weather.

Organizers
